Slacker Blogger

In an effort to bring you up to date on the most recent happenings of the Meyers' clan, I'm posting a bunch of pictures - admit it, you would rather look at pix than read a novel of what we've been up to (okay, I will throw in a few captions to humor you all :) This pretty much sums up our July (minus Independence Day - in which I took way too many pix to edit/post). Oh, and if you check out the Talsma Trio blog, you can read about our adventure to Shipshewana, Indiana last week with ALL 6 kids! We sure got a lot of looks and comments about being so brave. Without further delay.................

My little charmer

Proof that Tim and I DO get out SANS CHILDREN :) We enjoyed a Tigers game with the Hamberg's and Talsma's a couple weeks ago - too bad they lost

I FINALLY caught a monarch on my black-eyed susans

You like Harley's faux-hawk?

Lucas and Reece lined up at the starting line (you like that bike helmet that lost it's cool outer shell?)

Sweet galloshes dude!

Enjoying an afternoon shower

What's up with this face?!!

One of the many victims for the bug box (kudos to dad!!!)

Touchdown!!!

Lucas is freezing after only a few minutes in the Splashpad at Millenium Park - his lips matched the color of his shirt!

Nicole and Ethan enjoying a nice warm towel

Sweet little Josiah - kids look so innocent in these hoodie towels :)

Seen a similar photo before? Think winner of the GR Press' summer scrapbook photo contest of 2007 (good idea Randy and Ethan!)

Someone in our family has to sport a PINK D hat :) And the Tigers lost again!!! Are you sensing a trend here?

A twizzler stick pacified the baby :)

A rowdy Tigers' fan!

Fun at Georgetown Elementary with friends

Apparently middle children tend to be our little charmers :)

Reece clearly wasn't as excited about this new photo opp spot we discovered at the school.
